How on earth do I get the photos from my iPhone onto my Mac?

Open the photo importer or iPhoto and you can import them in. The Mac treats iPhones as a digital camera.

I know on my Windows PC, when I plug in the iPhone, a window pops up and you can simply drag and drop the photos to the C:\ drive.

    Pfffft, silly Macs.

    :D
