I have an ibm server that only has usb 1 and i need usb 2

Is it just a matter of getting a card and slotting it in?

    Sorry, just re-read that post.

In theory you just drop the card into a free PCI slot, but depending on the OS that server's running you might need drivers for the Via controller and/or USB2.0 so it can recognise the card and its attached peripherals respectively. Probably not, but you never know...
