Hi All, Recently bought a transit swb and im booked in for test on 28th so i was reading through some other posts and just want to be covered on the day do i need: warning triangle? fire extinguisher? weighing bridge cert? should i take my tools out of the van? Anything else i need ?? It is taxed but just waiting to insure…

Hi All,

Recently bought a transit swb and im booked in for test on 28th so i was reading through some other posts and just want to be covered on the day do i need: warning triangle?
fire extinguisher?
weighing bridge cert?
should i take my tools out of the van?

Anything else i need ??
It is taxed but just waiting to insure it, if i dont have it insured b4 test will that be a problem? having a hold up getting my no claims back off quinn at the mo.

You do need a warning triangle, although most places overlook it.
For the love of god take your tools out!! You never know what theives your handing it over to.
Only vehicles over 3500kg need to carry a fire extinguisher.
You dont need a weighbridge cert just your vehicle registration document(ownership form/taxbook)
I dont think they'll be to bothered if you don't have insurance on the vehicle.
