Body Shop men's "Face Protector" used to be around €12.50 last year. I had been using this product for 10 years or more.

This product was then discontinued and replaced with "Maca Root Energetic Face Protector" at about €17  - a 30%+ price hike during the biggest recession in our history. Needless to say, the same product is just £10/€11 in the UK.

I have stopped buying Body Shop's products and am trying out a range of other products instead.

I did (contacted Body Shop UK customer care). Got the usual excuses. They say the Irish shops are a franchise which sets its own prices, but I don't know who runs the franchise. I call into their shop now and again to see if they've revised the prices, but no joy yet. And their shops seem awfully quiet these days.

Wear an ice hockey mask instead if you're worried about your face getting messed up.
