HDTV Calibration

I've seen a few articles on places like Gizmodo about this and I was wondering has anyone tried those calibration discs? If you have, was there a noticeable difference and where did you get the disc from?

i have the DVE blu ray set up disc. my tv was fairly well calibrated by eye but i did notice a slight improvement after the disc.

i got it here, region free

Sorry to bring up an old thread and I'll post anew if the mods would like but I would like to get my hands on a HD calibration disc. The DVE one above though appears to be Region A only (as the site linked above says and as the reviews littered on Amazon.co.uk say http://www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-Video-Essentials-Basics-Blu-ray/dp/B000V6LST0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1295649454&sr=1-1

Can anyone tell me if the Spears and Munsil one here http://www.chromapure.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=28&products_id=47

is region free, or even pal?

If not, are there any other options disc-wise?
