Strange ping

    Hi i've digiwebs metro home package,

    My ping jumps up and down constantly sometimes it's like 29 when i run the speedtest and and sometimes it's 200+

    I do get quite a bit of lag in games... any ideas why this is happening?
    Or can i improve it in anyway?
    I'm using a wireless connection which can't be changed into a wired one "it's just too far away" and i'm living in a student house so there are a few others using the web too.

    playing l4d on steam servers btw

    Its cause you are on wireless. Its never a good idea to game on wireless.
