    Hi
I would appreciate some advice on a ceiling mount. I have a Epson EMP TW700 projector which I want to hang from the ceiling but I don't know which ceilling mount to purchase.

The ceiling mount for my projector is the Epson EIPMB20 but it costs about 300eur. Komplett have a Vogel VPC 545 (eur99)and a BTech BB1 (eur100).

I am not sure the Komplett one's will hold my projector?

Has anyone bought the Vogel or the BTech?

Should I pay the extra bit for the Epson ceiling mount?

    Thanks
    Karl

I use the Vogel on my Panasonic AX200, and never had any issues, plus it was easy to install. I just located the joist, and screwed up into it.

I purchased it from Pixmania at the time.

Stay away from the Btech. Ribbish mounts.

The Vogels are the best on the market. VPC 545 is the commerical mount and will suits all 720p projectors. Not suitable for alot of the 1080p models due to their size. For the big 1080p models you will need the Vogels PPC 200

I'd be more inclined to go for the Vogels EPC 6545 Projector Mount. This is the consumer version of the VPC 545 and its a much tidyer mount. Puts the projector very close to the ceiling too making it less obvious.

    Good choice.

The 6545 has a bit of a knack to mounting the projector which is not explained well in the user manual.

Post if your having any problems.

    Hi
I have tried to mount the projector - the user instructions are useless.
Does anyone know of a vogel or projector installation person/technician who I can contact about this?

    Thanks
    Karl

ive been doing a lot of research through this forum so thanks to all who helped me choose.just got my epson eh tw2900. the site i bought it advertised that i should also get the vogels 545. its actually too small to fit this giant. so its the Vogels PPC 200 that i actually need then?or is there a way i could make the other one fit.(without using 1000euros worth of ducktape)
    thanking you in advance.:)

I would be very surprised if you need the PPC 200. This is a heavy duty projector ceiling mount and is usually only required for large venue projectors over 10kgs.

Not sure if you have fitted a ceiling mount before. The 545 mount arms need to be arranged correctly depending on the projector. Try bolting the arms to the projector firstly, but no too tight. Then rotate the arm around to align with the circular plate and bolt through the slots in any location possible.

Cannot see how this would not work??

thank you very much for response.n o have never mounted a ceiling mount before.the problem is only 2 of the four arms reach the plate.the epson is a pretty big projector.i might just have to do some diy to fit.have never been so excited about a purchase ive made before.playing battlefield on a 100plus inch screen is unbelievable.
