Compared to Kenny, he'll probably look slightly interesting, but having watched him fawn all over the non-entities he gets as guests on his own show, I'm not clinging onto much hope that the Late Late will improve any.
I wouldn't be surprised if we look back in three years and describe his appointment as the killer blow to the longest running chat show in the world.

The other candidates for the job hardly inspired any confidence either though.
