    Guys,

Have an onkyo 506 amp and looking to pick up a set of floorstanders and a center that wont blow up if sombody turns the volume up to the MAX at a party  ( RIP Panasoinc speakers :p )

Anything you can suggest, budget is about £300 or so. I wouldnt be adverse to open box stock if the price is right.

    Thanks

    Nail,

Thanks for the post/apologies for the delay in getting back to you!

Pretty much every pair of speakers are blowable if the party is good enough and to be honest most of the speakers we sell are designed for quality rather than pure volume!

Again if you really push your speakers it is probable that you could damage your receiver (then you would be in serious smells) However I do have one Open box/Ex-display pair of mordaunt short MS914 which are pretty tough and I could do those at just £169.95 (reduced from £219.95) and I could do the 304 centre at just £49.95.

Alternatively I could do the Monitor Audio Bronze Reference 6 floorstanders and a Bronze Reference LCR Centre, brand new boxed at £399.95 reduced from £649.90 - however that offer is limited to the stock and finishes we currently have in stock (the BR6 are monsters BTW!):p

If you are interested in any of these please just drop me a line and I'll sort it out for you,

    Thanks again for the postie,

    ATB,

    Nail,

apologies - I missed that one!

Calvados is the finish (its light, a bit like apple or pine)

    Keep me posted!
