Internment for "gang" members?

    Should the army be put on the streets of some council housing estates around the country? Should there be internment without trial for 15 years for gurriers who are "gang" (don't want to give the delinquents too much credit) members? Should Limerick be floated off into the Atlantic ocean? These are just some of the ideas floating around.....I think, yes, to the army so they can give them a hiding - and then - yes to internment for 15 years without trial for the little thugs....Thoughts? Opinions? Solutions? ANYBODY!?

    *can hear the stampede of the do gooders, human rights, bleeding heart brigade already*

    Shoot to kill - because they're worth it.

    Build a massive firing range, charge people to have a go and the raised cash can to to charity.

    Its a win-win situation! :D

    Here's your solution;

    Legalise Drugs.

    Criminals lose their power,money and what support they have from the general public. With no more moral busy-bodying from the government certain people won't feel as oppressed, and therefore less likely to act out in anti-social ways.Taking drugs won't be seen as "cool", "mad" or as "rebelling" and those dependant on drugs won't need to resort to crime to fund their habits.

    You can say what you want, but really, is stopping a very small number of people from becoming dependant on drugs really worth the massive social, economic and health implications that the "war on drugs" brings?

    As well as gang members I'd throw all the tinkers in to this internment camp.

    OP: I support this idea. When it takes effect, I'll accuse you of being a member of one gang or another.
