    Howya,

Im interested in buying the ek4 Civic Vti, those 1.6 dohc vtecs, and I jst have a few questions to ask before I really buy one. I'm 19, and am heading back to college after summer. I'm saving my ass of at the moment to afford one, and the down payment on the insurance. I just passed my full license in April, and I got a quote with 123.ie of €1,700 for the year on my Mams policy, and thats around €125 or so a month. 123 are the only company who gave me a decent online quote, anyone have any other decent insurance companies in mind?

Anyone have any tips on what to look for when buying, and checking out the car, like I understand that the CV joints are a problem in Hondas, and to make sure theres no smoke on Vtec, but anything else I should keep in mind? And also, anyone have past experience of what its like running a car like this while balancing college with a job paying around €150 a week!?

Appreciate all advice that anyone has. Thanks.

The Modified Motors Forum might be better for this, not as busy as this but you'll get a few replys from the lads there.
