Motorcycle Insurance on irish License

    Hi guys,
    I've got a Full Irish bike license and planning to head to Oz at the end of the year. I'm looking to buy a bike and tour around. Does anyone know if getting insurance will be a problem? Or even is it expensive. Any links to insurance companies I can contact appreciated!

    does aus have a similar bike licensing system as we do here in europe, as in being restricted to 25kW for two years after passing your test? i will have the two years completed jan next but hoping to head out in june and wouldnt mind a getting a 4 or 600.

    out of interest there got a quote for a cbr600f, i'm 26 and it came back at aus$130 for third party only per year
