Thermostat for Boiler Query

    Hi,

I have been advised that I should fit a thermostat to my wood pellet boiler. It would work by only activating the pump when the water in the boiler reaches a certain temperature so the pump would not run all the time.

I was wondering can anyone recommend a thermostat for this purpose. I got one but it appears to work in the opposite way i.e. it turns the pump off when it gets to a certain temperature.

    Any suggestions appreciated?

Am surprised it did not come with one:(

U prolly have stat wired wrong way round, easy to do and also easy to fix:)

Most stats open one circuit and close another when they reach the set temp

Thanks for the reply. We got it sorted yesterday evening.

There is a seperate stat on the boiler itself which came with it and controls the woodpellet feed and burner on the boiler. This one will isolate the boiler pump so it only comes on when the water has been heated in the boiler.
