    Hi all
    i have an 04 civic saloon ( se )
the central locking will automatically lock itself after about 1 minute.
now there is some merit in this if you walk away and forget to lock it but it happens very quickly. also one day my wife had it and it locked even when the keys were in the ignition. This seems crazy to me and malfunctioning.
only we had the spare handy we were in difficulty.

so does this happen anyone elses car. its coming up to its 12 months warranty ( second hand toyota dealer cover ) and i want to get it done if it is a malfunctioning locking system.

    any advice appreciated

My car does this but it can be cancelled by opening a door and closing it again. Seems pretty silly if the keys are in the ignition though. I remember an old Leon they had at work used to get a window broken regularly as a result of the same thing:rolleyes:

doesn't make sense when the keys are in it. surely it should recognise that and override the auto shut option.
