Ravenhill haven't had a great start to the season but they won't be a pushover.

Ed I think is missing this.

Ravenhill have been a good team for a number of seasons and though their current form hasn't been the best, you don't become a bad side overnight so let's not forget that lads - this will be a testing game.

I agree 100% with this, Ravenhill have caused us problems in the past, and I fully expect another tough match against them.

Texts will go out after Lunch.

VEC Terenure. The timing is too tight though so I'm not gonna bother going to it.

Sorry I just f**ked a load of crap onto my keyboard.. followed by a new coffee and an open bottle of water... chaos ensued..

What I had meant to say was.. Mick Mc is not playing anymore due to a career change after meeting a NY Knicks cheerleader in NY.. sadly it didnt come out like that:o,

On the plus side.. I've got me a shiny new keyboard :)

Meh is all I can say. They had 3 chances. Scored them all. We were poor.

:(. feck it anyway, our first ever loss to them.

    +1 on all of that.

That was a pretty demoralizing way to lose but lads we knew we would lose sooner or later and as Dan said at the end, it's all about how we bounce back from this: let's make sure we look back on this as only a blip.

Their 9 (Eamon I think) was an outstanding player and it seemed to me they had loads of new players since our last game with them and they were quite athletic throughout with lots of good ball players. So I think if they keep getting players out each week, they can take points off any team.

Yeh, they had good players but we didn't give them a sniff at the back. Their 3rd goal was their only clear cut chance. So disappointing. We played poorly going forward but the goals we conceded were very disappointing. Important to go out next week and get a victory and get back on track.

8 hour headache and a GP trip later, I may not remember as much of the game as others...but that may be a good thing. Sorry lads.

They had a lot of time on the ball, but we still had a few chances. Very different side to even their 0-0 draw last season at 3RRB.

Did you get a bang on the head?? You alright?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,665 Mod ✭✭✭✭dfx-

Yeah, when I fell backwards as I caught the ball and their player barged into me in the first half, I smacked the back of my head off the ground. Only started to really feel it at about 11pm, but it was killing me this morning.

Should be grand in a couple of days.

    Yeh, just rest up.
