im doing an economics exam tomorrow, and i need to give an example of a business cluster.

im from cork, and theres a 'good food circle' in kinsale, cork.

i think there a cluster but not sure, i rang up the chairperson, but she didnt know what a cluster was.

I'm finding it difficult to get an accurate description of a business cluster, most descriptions i find are wide open to interrpretation, and dont pin it down.

But it wood be handy even if were to get a few examples of activities that business clusters members engage in together.

By far the best example of a business cluster is Silicon Valley. If you are involved in a tech or internet company than you want to be based here because all your suppliers are based here, as well as potential partners, knowledgeable staff etc.

If you google silicon valley cluster i think you should get plenty to write about.
