    Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows of classes you could go on to learn how to "do" your own hair in Dublin?

My hair is very unruly and I find it really difficult to style and usually end up with my hair ghd'd straight when going out, or back in a bobbin during the week. It's very boring and I would like a change but I'm just crap at hair!

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,
Youtube has come up here frequently and I would again highly recommend it. Most importantly before you attempt to do your hair, you have to understand your hair!!! Do you have thick hair or thin hair with lots of it? How does it dry naturally? Is it dry or greasy or normal? If you figure out how to answer these then you can make the first move and establish what products you should be using. I have found such a difference in my own hair just by changing products. Also watch out for magazine articles with info on doing hair, I have learned so much from these.
Back to the youtube thing, well theres a guy called johnny lavoy and he does great videos on how every style.
Some basic things you might need to learn are; how to backcomb, how to curl, how to dry hair properly, etc. You can try different hair accessories to make a difference too.

    Hope that helps!x

I would love the same thing!!! I too have unruly hair and it takes so much effort to do even two styles - tied back or down. I have always thought why don't hair dressers offer such classes or sessions - - I would gladly pay for an hour or half hour session of how to do 'simple' hair things.
