State of Play Before Finale

    Just as an aid to getting it straight in my head,
    here's a brief summary of where the various parties stand before the finale.

    1977
    Hurley, Miles and Jin: Located somewhere just outside Dharma village on the way to the beach. Hurley carrying the guitar case.

    Kate, Sawyer and Juilet: Currently on the Sub heading to Ann Arbor

    Jack, Sayid, Richard and Eloise: In the Tunnels looking at the A- Bomb, Jughead.

    Young Ben: In the Temple. (Correct?)

    Dr Chang and Dharma People: In Village and at various sites, all non essential civilians evacuated.

    Bernard and Rose and extras: On beach or in the jungle, unknown Time Frame.

    Young Widmore & Others: In jungle camp.

    2007
    Locke, Sun, Ben and Richard et al: On the Way to see Jacob.

    Bernard and Rose and extras: See above

    Lupidas and Shadow of Statue People: On the Second Island.

    Rest Of Others(Hostiles): The Temple

    Is this everything or have I missed something?

    I personnaly think the function of the finale will be to try to bring together these many groups and have two clear groups heading into the last season
    in a battle for the island.

    You have Bernard and Rose in 2007, but last we saw of them, they were in the 50's getting attacked by tghe hostiles with flaming arrows. If they kept moving through time like Sawyer and co., then presumeably they are in 1977..... unless they died and were left behind like Charlotte.

    thanks for that.
    im gutted though - i thought this was the final season and also didnt know it was only 17 episodes this season. now have to wait another year. wish i hadnt have watched this season and watched the last 2 in a marathon week.
    however this season has been very good

    Yeah I put them in both 1977 and 2007 "unknown time frame"
    I'm assuming that they are in 1977 and would have jumped with sawyer and co
    but we could be wrong.

    Young Ben: the brat child

    Bernard and Rose and extras: the forgotten
    Young Widmore & Others: the dangerous people

    2007
    Locke, Sun, Ben and Richard et al: the mystery and head f**k angle
    Bernard and Rose and extras: See above
    Lupidas and Shadow of Statue People: the other dangerous people
    Rest Of Others(Hostiles): don't remember these.

    lots of story lines! from listening to the podcasts i'm pretty excited. In hindsight, while not waiting to see the finale which will undoubtedly be a great watch, this season was very very good. There wasn't the sudden drop in quality after 5/6 episodes like in previous seasons. Arguably there was a little but it was a different kind of drop and was still very intersting to watch, in my opinion. It basically was a solid strong season. I wish i could go back in time to the pilot of lost and tell everyone that they plan on using time travel :)
