no signal being recieved after new epg

hi all i have a sky hd box with the new epg, now if the box is left for a few hours turned on and not touched it comes up with no sat signal being recieved. i checked and it is rf2 rf1 is allmost full scale. if i power off the box at the wall and turn it back on again all is well but thats a pain to do every time. what…

what could it be its about 9 months old the box has acted up a few time but when it does i just force a software update/reload and all is well again.

the coax and all should be ok as it was my own supplied (ct100) as i would not let sky install there own junk.

any ideas apart from ring them as that is a waste of time
