Ive got around 7000-7500 to spend. Looking for something that looks good and is reasolably quick. Dont really have any preference as to Jap or European. Dont really mind what size engine is in it. Would preferably have leather seats.

    Any recommendations???

Define reasonably;)? And are you looking for a coupe? Or what type of car are you looking for?

    Audi TT

    If you want something powerful:
VW Golf TDI or Passat TDI
    BMW 3 Series Diesel

    Merc C-Class

    If you want something big:
    Nissan Maxima
    BMW 5-Series
    Volvo S60
    Merc E-Class

    If you want something else:
    Mitsubishi Pajero
    Toyota Landcruiser
    Opel Vectra
    Honda Accord
    Ford Focus or Mondeo

i suppose its a coupe im looking for, though i could be persuaded to look at other cars. Like the idea of a 3 series coupe. Also a 02 civic type r or a s2000 but those are a bit outside my price range. And by reasonably i mean less than 8 seconds to 60.

I'm very biased about this because my buddy has one but a Lexus IS200 Sport is a great piece of kit with a nice 6 speed 2 litre. Can be found for a reasonable price to. He got his for a little under €8000.

My dad got a standard IS200 in the UK for just under £6500 before christmas, so prices are variable so have a look around.
