podcast and vid prob

hi lads have a iphone 3g have downloaded both of the above but there not on my iphone at all. taking up the mem on i tunes when its plugged in but not physically on the phone that i can see. i have went into the right section of the phone

Are you saying when you view the content on the iPhone via iTunes you can see the podcast/video - but you can't on the device?

Sure the content is not just in iTunes on your machine's hard drive?
Maybe you haven't synced it over.

Are you looking in the right place on your iPhone - i.e. the videos/podcasts menu?
