Hi folks I have a few questions about my 32" lg 1080p.
    http://uk.shopping.com/xPF-LG-LG-32LG5700-32-LCD-TV-Gloss-Black
according to the specs it has a maximum refresh rate of 60hrz
I have it hooked up to my pc via a ati radion 4890 and a dvi to hdmi cable.
all was fine until i switched from winXP to Vista, the ati controll panel detects the tv model as "32LG5600" when It's actualy a "32LG5700"
no ,ajor cuse for alarm there but It reports the maximum refresh rat of 75hrz as opposed to 60hrz. I have forced the video card to detect the tv as a 1080P60 and set the refresh rate to 59hrz (I think this is supposed to be optimum for 60hrz tvs.)

I am worried because I can see the screen splitting into out of sync horizontal bars when images move quickly on the screen. (this did not happen in XP at the same refresh rate)

this is the second tv that I had as I had to rma the first one for lines of dead pixles.
I am afraid that incorrect refresh settings may damage the tv or shorten it's life, the tv user manual is useless and amounts to telling you how to plug it in and tune in stations.
thanks for reading all that, any info/advice would be greatly appreciated.
