scrap metal and stuffed toys

Hello, Can someone tell me if a recycling centre will take metal with bits of plastic stuck to them? I've tried cutting the plastic off but with no luck. Do I just put the lot in the scrap metal container? I also need to know what to do about stuffed toys? they are not fit to be sold or given to charity, would I put them…
