insurance after a claim?

    my insurance is up in august,and im just wondering whats the best company to go with after claiming insurance? at the moment im with quinn and i had 1 yr ncb, my insurance was 1170.

    at christmas i had a crash and claimed 1600 euro for the other owners car. i drive a 1.2 renault clio,but in the next week or so il hopefuly be driving a 1.6. how much can i expect to be hit for?
    few questions.
    anyone any expierience with this sort of thing?
    anyone any good irish comparison sites?
    and anyone ever tried that chill.ie?

    Given that there a few uncertainties I would hold off buying the 1.6 litre car until August when your renewal comes in. No point in buying a 1.6 litre car now and come August you cannot afford to insure it.

    You need to read your insurance policy or ring your insurance company, some insurance companies allow you to claim up to a certain amount before it affects your NCB or load you. But only they can give you the answers.

    Any answers you get here will only be speculation.
