    The filthy scrounger on the dole,
    the homeless with their begging bowl,
    immigrants looking up from their caste,
    sense of community of times past,
    the priest saying "you'll go to hell",
    the child must obey the bell,
    looking down to please the ego,
    the individual you must fore-go,
    where has our humanity gone,
    If chess I'm just a pawn,
    In a game I dont wish to play,
    loving the night and hating the day,
    where truth like a friend unwanted,
    and greed a trait most vaunted,
    from our path we've been led astray,
    our love must be kept at bay,
    because it can conquer all,
    and with it evil will fall,
    where joy takes the higher ground,
    and each distinctly from the crowd,
    cries out in peace and harmony,
    let's find again our humanity.
