Wallet found

This being probably the busiest forum on the Boards I'll ask you guys first.
Walking home from the beer tonight [Dublin 13] I found a wallet.
Not a money wallet, more of an I.D. wallet, and I'm just wondering how best to reacquaint the owner with their lost property.
If there was a bank card or something similar then it would be easy enough - ring the bank and ask them to pass on my details - but there isn't.
Obviously I don't want to say too much but any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd recommend the Dublin forum becuase we're not all from Dublin here and they might be more likely to help instead of being sarcastic, failing that bring it to the Guards.

There's a few cards with contact numbers but nothing obvious.
I'll make a few calls tomorrow and see what happens.

I'm with Frada on this one, bring it to the guards.
AFAIK Coolock Garda Station is for Dublin 13.
Ring them and explain, say you will drop it in to them tomorrow.

If I can't locate the owner I will definitely leave it with the guards.
