    They didn't give out many notes really and there was only one lecture (the rest were labs) a week which focused more on database stuff.

    What are you looking to find out?

    just tutorials thats all. is the language exactly same as vb.6?

    Not the same but very similar. If you've done VB6 you'll be flying it and if you didn't it starts very simple anyways.
