Vista media remote

    This is a link to the remote i'm talking about. I have this for my vista machine. It comes with a reciever which you just pop into the usb and as far as i know there is no software. (if there is please let me know)
    Are there any ways/programs to edit the button commands? I want to reprogram some of them or just generally mess around with them. If anyone knows the official name for this or where i could find the manual that would be helpful too. Thank you

    anyone know ANYTHING about this remote? i've tried looking it up online and i've only found sales websites

    There's no software going with them, it's just a copy of the microsoft remote really.

    The only programmable buttons are volume and TV power. It's not a programmable remote.

    If you're after a programmable remote have a look at the logitech harmony range.

    Is there any software which will get the infrared reciever and detect the connections as they're recieved?
