    Guys,

Couple of questions for ye - maybe someone experienced could put me at ease

Q1 - Are Grey Crows protected in anyways ?
Q2 - Any idea why a pair of Crows would start attacking a patio door ?
Q3 - Any ideas how to get rid of them ?

    TIA

    Junior

Two number 5s should help get rid of them.

    Why ? Their own reflection.
Protected ? No. You're still subject to animal cruelty legislation though. If you use a live trap make sure it has food and water and if you kill them do it quickly without needless suffering.
How to get rid of them ? Shooting is the easiest and quickest.

I'd be surprised if it was reflection to be honest, due to where the door and the sun is in the morning. But thanks for all the replies lads.

It could be the start of something like in the "Birds" film.

crows used to love picking the putty out of window frames in the morning,
but id say they are fighting with their reflections, cos theyre territorial, best job is to introduce them to lead shot:D

I control there numbers around me with a larsen trap although a wee bit bigger. I have caught them in the standard larsens before.

There tricky to shoot, very intelligent pluckers:D
