    is anybody else unable to log on to their moodle page or their portal page? when I try to log on to moodle, I get an error saying:
    "LDAP-module cannot connect to any servers: Server: 'ldap://nds.dcu.ie/' Connection: 'Resource id #54' Bind result: ''
    does anyone know what this means? (I'm looking at you computer apps peeps).
    Even worse, when I try to log on to my portal page, the little box with 'username' and 'password' fields just keeps popping back up when I press submit. If I close this box, I get a blank screen with the '401 authoriation required' error. This is bad because i cannot retrieve my exam number or seat number for the upcoming student exams. Can anyone help?

    It was working earlier but I can't log in now either. Try it again in a couple of hours and it'll probably be working again.

    I came to start a thread about moodle when I saw this. Glad it isn't just me! Scared the cr*p out of me with exams coming up!

    I think it goes down after 10pm or 10:30. I used to go on at nights to see what my timetable was for the next day, but I rarely got it. Its back by 6 anyway, iirc

    Not normal - it's half fcuking 1 in the day - of course people will want moodle, and the portal page :mad:

    I know it's always down at night. But this is unusual.. Hope the feckers will go in today to fix it.

    Its not really acceptable when you're one week form exams and need access to your notes.

    This is ridiculous, horrible timing! Hope they sort it out soon.

    EDIT::

    Theres no way of me getting the exam papers without moodle working. The dcu website needs a username and password which are not the student ones. If anybody has any be102 exam papers handy could they post them up here please?

    Thanks.

    You already have the notes printed. Why would you need moodle? :p
