If you heading out through Dublin Airport boots have a sweet deal.
You get a sandwich, pack of crisps and a drink for €4.

The sandwiches are a good selection pretty much what you'd get in most places pre packed (chicken and stuffing, ham and cheese etc) The drinks they have are juices bottles of coke and red bull large cans.
The crisps are walkers or you can get a bag of fruit or bar instead.

Considering a sandwich usually costs at least 5euro up there its a nice deal.:D

Most Boots have had this offer on for the last week or more, better value than the M&S one.

Maybe I havent been looking hard enough, but I thought Boots only did sanwiches in their shops in the UK, so this is a welcome development..

better value than the M&S one.

    How so?

The M&S one is the same (sandwich, drink and crisps) but for 2.75.

After Security turn right towards the new rabbit warren that takes you to the A and D gates and you can't really miss it

If you don't fancy a boots sandwich, you can always go to Burger King up the escalator near boots!

Saw that in Tesco in Douglas when I went for a nose, the only drink available was water, which was all sold out:rolleyes: It seems like a good deal though

It gets better, the deal is actually only 3.99 euro :D

Although the location is really in T1X and not Pier D.
Wednesday April 22nd Holiday makers and commuters alike can look forward to picking up their last minute health and beauty requirements in a new 220 square metre store in Dublin Airport.

The store, which is located in Pier D, is managed by Therese Gilligan and has staff of 40 made up of both full and part time positions. Products available in the store reflect customers travel requirements including a large sunshop and travel health section as well as a variety of cosmetic brands including No.7, Max Factor and L’Oreal. With increasing luggage weight restrictions becoming an issue for passengers the store’s wide range of mini sized toiletries will offer a great saving on valuable space in suitcases.

Those wishing to enjoy a quick snack on the flight can avail of the great meal deal selections available at Boots. A combination of drink, sandwich or salad and snack will cost a holiday budget friendly €3.99.

Commenting on the new store Rhys Iley, Director Boots Ireland, "We are really excited to be opening in Dublin Airport. The great range available means that people can be sure of picking up everything they require for all types of travel - from suncare for all the family to a quick meal deal for a weary business commuter.”

The company is thrilled to be opening their first airport store which becomes the 52nd store in the company’s portfolio.

Is that the new shopping area they've been working on recently, before the A/D piers? Anything else opened there?

just bumping this as i nearly fainted seeing this yesterday at the airport.
    Its still available

And 750ml water on its own for 1.20

    All BEHIND security.

All other outlets have water for 2 euro+ for the 700ml so boots is a bargainzone in the land of feckin extortionate water prices!!

Boots in Liffey Valley have been doing this offer for a good few weeks now. Depending on what you pick you are pretty much getting a 50% discount. Wraps alone are €3+, some of the drinks are €2+ and deserts are about €2.
