NCT on a Sunday in Portlaoise

    Hi

I just went through the online booking process for an NCT test.

Every test centre within a reasonable distance of Dublin was booked out up until the start of August. The last one I check was Portloise and it offered me a test slot for tomorrow morning (Sunday - 10/05/2009 - 11:20).

I clicked through and booked the test. I have absolutely no problem driving down tomorrow to get this done but I am somewhat doubtful that the test centre is in fact open on a Sunday morning.

Anyone have any ideas as to whether it will be a wasted trip?

    Thanks

A lot of the NCT centres are open now on Saturdays and Sundays to clear the waiting times.

I personally was offered a position working the off-peak hours for NCT but said no.

Ya u should be ok. I'm sure it wouldn't have given u the option to book the slot if it wasn't going to be open.
