Had a look at this on E- Bay.I asked how the sills and the arches are,He said the arches are a bit rusty and it might need a wing which he has sourced,sills are 100% .I forgot to ask about heater fan and water leaks though, He said the rust is cosmetic and not too bad. Does anybody know anything about the twin cam engines in these cars? Are they really more reliable than the single ohc ?

I hate to be negative, but it looks like a world of heartache to me. I'm sure you'd get a solid one for a fraction of the cost of restoring that one.

I've seen one of thoses for sale in Ireland in the last couple of days but I cant remember which website !...........I'll stew on that one

I just thougt it might worth buying,I know what you are saying though it doesnt look right, the reason i was more keen on this one was primarily the price and i was looking at one in the UK a suspected head gasget,the problem would be getting it to the ferry as it is at least 200 miles from the ferry.Forgot to say i would prefer a saloon if i can get it .
