jap imports and rear fog lights

I've done a search but did not find the answer...
I have a jap import. It doesn't need a rear fog I know, but I am considering it as I'm changing my light cluster and it has a spare bulb location.

    Questions:
    1. Does it matter if we have one or two rear fog lights?
    2. Are their and upper a lower limit on the wattage of the bulb?
    If yes, what are they.
    3. Is there restrictions on the type of bulb you can use...
My rear light currently has a dual filament bulb which incorporates the brake light - could I use one of the filaments of these bulbs for the fogs?
    4. Are their rules on the locations of rear fogs...
Can I just put them in the new light cluster because there is a spare opening?
    5. I have front fogs, so can I wire the rear one's to come on with them, as I will only ever use them when there really is fog.

    Cheers.

Just put a 21w/5w (or a 21w single filament) in the driver's side spare red lamp, with its own switch, and you'll be ok.

Altho the JDM models don't have any spare bulb positions as they have extra brake lights/parking lights (4 instead of 2).

Yeah, I was going to wire one of the extra rear brake / park lights positions on each side.

So just the 21w filament is need for fogs... could I use the 5w filament so I have two red lights on the rear of the car when I have my lights on?
