Take an hour with the Golden Pages and a phone, ring everyone. It's the only way to be sure you're getting the best quote.

Turbo and male dont go well. If your really stuck put it down as a normal 1.3 but dont tell em i told ye!

as Anan1 said, Shop around as much as possible!

If you do this make sure you dont have an accident because your insurance company wont pay out a penny when they find out, and they will find out.

Might have been a good idea to ring your insurance company for a quote before you bought the car.

To be honest its going to be tough enough to get a decent quote anywhere for a Glanza Turbo.

Try a broker, they'll do their best to get you a good quote

Hibernian or any company underwritten by Hibernian will not insure that car if you're not already with them.

Just thought I'd save you a bit of time there

    No need for that.

DO NOT do this, as CoDy1 said your insurance will be void. You don't even have to be involved in an accident, all it takes is a Garda demanding your insurance cert and you're in deep trouble.

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

    sad....

OP: try some 123.ie quin-direct, go brokers. Dont be afraid to shop around m8.

There is not such a thing: best company for cheap insurance. All insurance specialise at some part of drivers, AXA on first timers, Quin-direct on NCB+++, ather on woman drivers etc...

So if one insurance company is good for your friend or father etc, it can be bad for you, and ather way around.

I hope you will get it sorted m8.

As said above if you do this you're insurance co won't pay out if anything happens. It's a condition of all cover that you give them all the relevant facts when they quote you & put you on cover. If you lie you've broken this condition and it makes the whole thing null & void. It's just like you had no insurance at all.
I wouldn't take a chance on it either even relatively small claims have assessors apointed these days - one look & your car & the game is up.

Just shop around.... try everywhere - brokers, internet etc. You can get pretty big differences in price depending on the co & they all have different attitudes to risk of certin market sectors. Unfortunatly however 23 yr old male in a car like that is likely to be one they all charge a lot for - but some will be less than others.

It was meant to be sarcastic. As many have already pointed out, the consequences aren't worth it.

Fair enough, sometimes the tone doesn't come across in a post :)

It's about the claims history of the car as well as the power output - a CL500 is probably far less likely to be involved in an accident than an Impreza WRX.
