Replacing A4 wipers

The ebay ones there are for retro fit on cars that were originally fitted with the more traditional type blades. If the A4 had the flat blades from new (which I think they did) then you need the original type to fit this so be careful there.
Try one of the Motor factors in sligo, at least the guys there will give ya the right thing if they have it. Just pull the old ones off the car and walk into the factors with them. They just slide off and its the easiest way to get the right type/length etc

    Thanks Mick.

How much should i be expecting to pay?
Just felt that 60sheets was a bit much for an 'own-brand' replacement. Hence the eBay search.

I doubt a genuine replacement from a factors would be anywhere near as expensive as €60.

See Micksgarage.ie. They have a valeo one which is probably the genuine one. Its listed for Audi A4 from nov 2003 on. Its €62 for the pair so expensive too. Factors cheaper Id say.

    Not Your Ornery Onager

Tesco Clearwater have those flat blades in various sizes for €6! I thought I got a bargain in Lidl a couple of months ago when I paid €20 for a pair. :(

What are the odds on them squealing like a pig from day 1, though? The Lidl jobbies on my van did and also managed to get nicked on nothing and now leave streaks; less than 10,000k on...
