    Hi All

I am in the market for a new fireplace - proabably a fairly plain cream stone surround with a black base, and with a real fire.
Based in Malahide, would travel North quite easily...

Any recommendations and indications of price?

    Cheers
    BigBru

Bigbru you can pay for real or manmade marble with a goof price difference between the two for a simple 54" surround expect to pay E1000-1800 inc fitting. Shop around must places will travel to fit as we are at present.

We used Fireplaces Direct who are based up in Drogheda so only up the road for you. Much, much more reasonable than anything we saw here in Dublin. The came, delivered and fittted in jig time, no hassle. That was two yeas ago so not sure if they are still about though. Hope it helps.
