    Before she arrived:

Queens staff: You know Ronan there is a protocol about bowing?
ROG: Please, there is no need for her to bow.

That would seem like the logical thing for an Irish person to do, although I'm afraid she probably wasn't the victim of the abuse

She'd be better than most of the English backs, but it's a moot point as she declared for Germany. :)

Ah, great to see, God Save the Queen. I wonder, do Munster have a Royal Patron?;)

Just goes to show you how still photos (just like the POC one from the semi) can be very misleading. I don't believe the rumour that ROG has his hand in his pocket holding his hotel room key wondering whether the cameras would notice him slipping it into her pocket. Maybe she said - William what are you doing here?

In all seriousness I'd be very disappointed if any of them showed her anything other than respect. They're there representing Ireland, not themselves, and out of nothing but respect for the Northern players in team they should put any personal politics aside. Not that there was anything wrong with ROG anyway, just a still photo that doesn't tell the story.

I would have thought ROG & the Queen would have an interest in betting on the nags in common and if they only got to know each other...........

    You could be right :)

Didn't the english queen just revoke The 1701 Act of Settlement which prohibited protestants and catholics marrying, before her visit, perhaps she thought she might get lucky.......
