Older women are cougers, they like to meet younger men.

But maybe you should try the Internet?

    Define "Mature".

Dating websites cater for all ages - try them?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

You should check out the notice board in your local libary, it might give you information on clubs in your area that might be of interest to you.

    Good luck!

The AGM of Widiows and Divorcees. It's a biannual event held in the RDS. July 7th.

Might be a good place to start.

The clue is in the first 7 letters of your name, albeit misspelled.

Wait for a warmer spell though.

The OP meant opposite sex, legal and consenting. Church is hardly the place for that.

Hillwalking club, GAA/Sport club, Gym, Public speaking club, after work meetings, Religious service & social events, Bridge club, Chess club, Horticultural society, historical society.

What are your interests? There will be a sufficient number of social events with them.

The social events connected with religious service are good for meeting like-minded people. The Pioneer Association has something like 250,000 members, to take one example. The churches depend upon a huge amount of voluntary work - and there's a way to meet people.

It depends what your interests are.

yes, agism and a lot of presumptions here. I'm not a pensioner, I'm an active, working single parent. Not over the hill yet.

There you go, a hill walking club. They'll be active all summer and travelling all over the country. They usually leave from a central enough place. There are even hillwalking clubs in your favoured language like http://www.cnocadoiri.com/ or http://www.google.ie/search?hl=ga&q=hillwalking+club&meta=cr%3DcountryIE

I'm sure the assumption that 'Mature' means old and sex related comes from most boards members second favourite net activity.

I suppose I can be considered old.

Places like volunteer locations, charity functions, bars, political events, public events such as rallies and exhibitions, theatre and musical events, etc.

Well done OP, despite wandering into hostile territory, you persevered where many have failed and found what you wanted. I admire your pluck.
