Yeah, I have it when I go see movies in Dublin. Yum.

Hmmm... Never really thought about it before. Why DON'T we have it here? People demand answers! We should write a letter.

    Or something...

    Seems way too sensible :D

I'm out of town tomorrow (otherwise I'd be going to Star Trek) but I'll ask when I do go in, if nobody beats me to it and posts the answer here.

They have sweet popcorn in Lifford cinema.....always quieter than LK and since it was done up is far better to go to! They used to do big discounts on a tuesday night, not sure if they still do it though.

Salty popcorn..... Yuech,, same with that other American invention 'Salt water Taffee'. They sell it as something wonderful to unsuspecting tourists, omg it truly is disgusting, it is what it is - toffee with salt in and like the salty popcorn does make ye as thirsty as hell;)

Going to see Star Trek and Wolverine (again) this week, so I'll ask and see what they say.

On a side note: why have they listed Star Trek as Startrek?! Seriously. I mean, isn't it the most well-known title in all of Pop Culture? How could they possibly get it wrong?

    Would a theatre promote Romeoandjuliet?!

    Would a shop sell Cheeseandonion?!

Would you start a love letter Deardenise?!

Also: Isn't it ironic that they left the SPACE out of Star Trek. Space... Star Trek... Get it?

    [chuckle, chuckle]

    :D

As far as I know, the Tuesday night deal is still going. And yeah, since they refurbished and added the extra screens, it is a good place to go to.

no sweet popcorn = less stock for them to carry+makes you buy more drink = more money

i wonder if we could get them to swap?
if we could start a petition...........

I asked last light, but I'm really no wiser.

They don't have it, they never had it, and they have no plans to carry it.

As an investigative journalist, I suck... :(
