Windows - drafts

    Hi all

I have a 10yr old bungalow with wooden framed windows. I notice that they are drafty particularly in winter. While the frames and glass seen in reasonable condition I'm wondering what the ultimate solution to this is? I have almost resigned myself to getting new windows but your advice would help - is there something else that I can get done to solve the problem?

If the ultimate solution is replacing the windows I would be looking at Aluminium (wood look) windows. The house has around 20 windows of various sizes - does anyone know how much (very very roughly) should I be budgetting for replacing them? (I suppose it's about equivalent to getting 2 three bed semi d's done). I'm guessing 15 - 20k?

    Cheers
