Hey wasn't too sure if this was against the rules so mod please don't ban me but i was wondering if selling an audio interface without its software would seriously diminish the price?

Not trying to sell it here or anything cause i know its against the rules but i have an alesis io14 that ipaid 500 dllars for two years ago and was wondering if anyone could help me get a guideline price for this without the cubase Le software?

If this is against the rules very very sorry no offence was meant whatsoever

shouldnt really diminish the price as id be pretty sure you could download the software off the manafacturers site

Dom, the best way of getting a guideline price is to look at what it's selling for new and second hand now. Check out the usual places, Thomann, DV247.com, X-Music, and Ebay for the second hand prices. You're better served by doing this kind of research yourself than asking for guide prices on here. Second hand prices should give you a good idea, as I'm sure most people selling interfaces on won't be including the packaged software...it's hassle to transfer licenses, etc....

Check how much the software'd cost on its own and see if that's a reasonable amount you'd be willing to knock off in order to make the sale. The legwork is really up to you on this one.
