top suspension [rear]

that top suspension in my mondeo is the cause of the rattle and nothing to do with rear trailing arms, cable suspension ties or rubber doo daah's

how much would i be expected to pay for top suspension for both sides? whatever the hell that is.

I would say longer. rear struts a pain in the mondeo to do. i seem to recall having to loosen the subframe assembly slightly to get enough room to work.
Mind you its been a while....

The mech jacked her up and said its the top suspension, so something at the very top of bot sides of the suspension coil at the back

the upper suspension mounts never give much hassle more than likely its either the upper subframe busehes are gone which is very common or the anti roll bar links sub frame bush replacement normally works around 250 euro ish .hope that maybe a help to you
