Printer and Ip Issues

    in our company we have say 6 pc all on a network using a d-link switch and all running through eircom broadband box ( so we all access internet and files on diff pc's )

    now the netopia box was faulty and was replaced , i hooked it up and the internet is working on all machines but some of the printers are not , ie a big hp laserjet etc , when i print the job it doesnt appear in the hp ???? im thinking maybe a changed ip address with new eircom box , anybody got some solutions ??? all pc's are using xp

    You should check your DHCP setup and also determine the ip address of the printer(s). You could run an ip scanner on one of the pc's and see what ip's are active. If you could power up the old netopia and check it's config then you can compare to the new one.
