Anybody do this? How do you work it?
Anybody know some science behind it.
Me- I just cram my face the day before an event. Not sure if it helps or hinders actually.

I dont do anything myself. I just try to eat a good bowel of porridge with a little honey 90 - 100 minutes before race start time. I've tried the two hour mark and felt hungry by start so i think 90 - 100 suits me.

Depends on the race really, for a marathon i've read that its 2-3 days in the run up to the event. I didnt go too mad at all and felt I got that right,
