The Glade Festival, now in it’s 6th year orginally started out as a stage at Glastonbury in 2001 with the idea of promoting what they considered to be the best in underground electronic music. After 3 years of rocking success at Glastonbury coupled with some free illegal parties, the Glade crew decided to see if they could take on their own festival in 2004 with a strong focus on breaks, techno, psytrance & dub sounds. The festival is now widely recognised as the leading electronic music festival in the UK, and for it's consistently forward thinking line-ups, creativity and diverse crowds. Glade 2009 is set to be their biggest yet, and is also in a brand new location near Winchester. The line-up includes stars like Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Underworld, Nitin Sawhney, Squarepusher Fem Kuti, Filthy Dukes to the more underground heads like Toddla T, Drop the Lime, Starkey, Rusko, Pinch & Zinc.
