i'm a guitarist looking to start up an indie post punk revival band in the style of editors, interpol, we are scientists, foals, bloc party etc. im really looking for a drummer in particular who's influenced by these bands and can play their kinda drumlines because im looking for the kinda drum beat style that is very synomonous with these bands. it just makes it easier for me to come up with stuff coz i write guitar lines and riffs around these drummers and bassists styles. really hoping to go for the 4 piece band with a singer/guitarist, drummer and bassist. if you're interested in forming a band like this and working on our own material and some covers give me a shout sure! i have a few contacts btw who can offer gigs in town too from being in another band.
