Yes, it's an excellent deal...limited offer though so quit your dilly-dallying and go order one!

EDIT: 39-23 will be a tough enough gear if you aren't that strong or using it for racing.

I have one and very happy with it. I bought it before christmas for 999 Sterling self build so the the offer they claim is the same, is now 500 Sterling dearer ???.
I note though that it is full Dura Ace.
Mine came with FSA compact chainset and Tektro brakes, Schwalbe lugano tyres. Otherwise identical.
If you purchase you might want to change the saddle though. I would have preferred the standard chainset at the time but no config changes permitted then either. Now its the other way around. If you would prefer the compact I will swap you for the 53/39.
Have a look at the Focus Cayo from Wiggle which I think is equivalent as I have one of those also.

i am torn between this bike and the giant TCR advanced 2 could anyone give me a push in the right direction, which would be lighter and faster i want to buy it for for fast club runs and races,i a currently riding a focus variado which seems a lot heavier than these two.

I'd go Planet X -it's one of the lightest frames for that kind of money out there

Excellent VFM with PX, I love mine. On the current offer I would change the saddle and cassette, so factor in your own changes and the £50 shipping charge, eg 105 12-25 £53.82 or DA 12-25 £156.60, I know you can't change the spec but PX will put any additions into the box.

The May copy of Cycling Plus magazine has both bikes reviewed in the Bike of the year comp.

Planet X pro Carbon (in Pink) Ultegra and tubulars is 6.94 Kg/15.29 lbs

Giant TCR Advanced 3 on Shimano 105, Mavic CXP22 and Formula hubs is 8.12Kg/17.91 lbs.

For what it's worth (if reviews are your thing) the Giant won bike of the year out of 37 bikes with Time Speeder velco 2nd and Wilier Mortirolo third.

...........Just realised your looking at the TCR 2..please ignore
