I just sold a camera on ebay to a US customer....

    Question is... I didn't put a warning about the taxes on the item page. You know the disclaimer stating "Taxes incurred shall be paid by the buyer, I hold no responsibility blah de blah".

    If they get charged with tax and duty, could I get in any sort of trouble? I figure that if you're old enough to own a credit card and but stuff on ebay then you're old enough to understand how tax & duty works.

    i dont think you will get into trouble but the buyer might (wrongly) give you a bad feedback rating

    I dont think people in the US get charged for items the way that we do,even if they did its their responsiblilty. Just make sure you send the item registered.
