    Hi.
I'll try and explain this as best I can. Basically, I want to alter two pairs of jeans that I own so that they are very narrow at the end while remaining loose-ish in the other areas. Think of a chav's tracksuit ends tucked in at the end but obviously not as extreme!.
If I went to seamstress is this possible for them to do?
And also: would this look ok?

I'm guessing you mean 'altering' jeans? :) I'm pretty sure it can be done alright by a decent alteration place...can I be nosey and ask why you want your jeans like that?

    I know what you mean.
I have seen a girl wear one and I thought cool alternative to tight skinnies.
Im sure it would be more comfy but fitted to the ankle.
Wouldnt it be easier to buy one?
No idea where you can them.

I think the "chav" comparison was badly put.
Basically I don't like boot-cut jeans or skinny jeans.
So I would just like it to be tighter at the ankle that's all. :)

A few things can go wrong when altering jeans.

If they are cut well the may fall differently when you take in the ankles, the seams may twist to the front or back.

Make sure you match or contrast the thread. If you are doing concealed seams you could end up making the jeans look a bot more like jeans coloured trousers.

I have done something like this to some of my linen trousers and put a cuff at the ankle but this is much easier because they are so light.

What about altering chambray denim jeans, it would be much easier......
